How to Join
Joining the Manx ICT Association (MICTA) is easy and inexpensive. We welcome members from all aspects of the ICT industry, the only requirements for joining are that your organisation must sell ICT value - software, hardware, hosting, voice & data communications, consultancy, web design etc. , accept the Constitution and abide by Member Rules.
The association is not open to businesses that only sell ICT enabled products and services, such as e-Gaming or e-Commerce, there are other organisations which provide industry networking and recognition for distance selling and non-ICT transactions.
Our membership fees are very modest, and there are three rates - sole trader, small business and larger business, based upon the number of employees in your organisation. The current rates are shown on the application form.
In return for our modest fees we provide a simple but effective range of benefits including:
- Peer networking with other ICT business leaders at regular networking meetings
- Communication and collaboration with other member organisations via our email list service
- Representation via the committee to Isle of Man Government
- Your company profile on this website as a central reference for Manx companies seeking ICT products and services
- Participation in ICT industry exhibitions on a Pay-As-You-Go basis
As a member run organisation MICTA is managed by an honorary steering committee supported by a paid secretariat. MICTA is unincorporated and non-profit. Your membership fees will be expended on costs such as publicity & PR, infrastructure (web, mail etc.), underwriting networking events & exhibitions, and paying the secretariat to organise MICTA events and activities.
